Let’s get Sven Winter to the skier cross Olympics!
Sven Winter used to be an alpine skier. He is now a skier cross and is hoping to make it to the skier cross Vancouver Olympics in 2010. At Virtually Canadian, we have decided to help Sven Winter by donating monthly, creating a website and promoting it for free. The current website is www.svenwinter.ca . It will be updated very soon.
We encourage you to donate and support Sven Winter and the Skier Cross discipline, even a little bit and pass the word around you. Canadian athlete do not get enough funds from the government and have to raise it themselves.
For example, Sven biked from Squamish to Whistler and back to raise some money. He will leave for Tignes, France for 6 weeks where some skier cross races are awaiting him.
