Once again, here I am in order to help you let your mouse rest using more keyboard shortcuts. Yesterday I talked about how to navigate through the opened tabs of an Internet browser window, telling you that there were 2 different ways to do it from your keyboard. Here is the second way to do so:
Let’s admit you are surfing on the Internet and have several tabs opened just like in the picture attached. You are currently on the 2nd tab and you are willing to reach the “Twitter” Tab or, Tab #4.
With yesterday’s shortcut, you would either press “ Ctrl+PageDown ” or “ Ctrl+Tab ” twice to reach the tab. But what if you have 12 opened tabs? What if I tell you that you can reach any tabs by pressing 2 buttons only?
When you have several tabs opened:
- Hold the “ Ctrl ” button and press any number to reach the respective tab.
In order to reach the “Twitter” Tab, you would press “ Ctrl + 4 ”. To reach the Facebook page, “ Ctrl + 1 ”…
So: how cool is that? I just love it!
What about you? What do you like better?
- Ctrl + Tab and Ctrl + Shift + Tab ?
- Ctrl + Page Up and Ctrl + Page Down ?
- Ctrl + #Number ?
